Salem Pond

We took the boys to Salem Pond last night and did a little duck feeding and fishing off of our paddleboat. We took a box of cheerios and were surrounded by ducks – its always so much fun. Gavin caught the only fish of the night – the other two tried with no luck.
When I was young, me and my siblings used to walk down to the pond from our house – about a mile away – and swim with no lifejackets, and I don’t think any of us really knew how to swim – What was my mom THINKING!!!!
When I was a teenager I also jumped off the bridge you can see in the background of some of the pictures – even though its posted NO JUMPING!!! What a rebel.
What a fun time. Robin and I used to go to the pond all the time when we lived nearby. She got ghiardia once and that was the end of swimming. We’ll enjoy from the shores (or boat in your case). : )
